Street Writer is the free online multiplayer crossword game that lets you play at your own rhythm. Play with up to four other players and never have to wait your turn. Steal your opponents letters, blow their words off the board or sneak a few extra tiles into your hand! In Street Writer you choose how you play.

No more waiting for your opponent to play their word. Up to four people can play at the same time. Once the game starts you can play a word whenever you like. All you have to do is get the best score possible with your 50 letters. Once everyone has finished your scores are compared and a winner is declared.

Strategy is everything. You choose the power you start your game with. Will you play fair and try to build the longest words, or get dirty and steal letters, plant mines or clear the board? Each match starts with a unique ability (power) which will give you an advantage in the game, but also heavily influence the way that you play the game.

Street writer uses the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary word list and the Collins Scrabble Words list added together (SOWPODS). On top of this weve added support for the Official Tournament and Club Word List (OTCWL).
